Bathing Beauty

Ok, so I couldn't resist posting a picture of Stella in her new bathing suit! Today was our first day back at the Keller Pointe water park, and boy was she a daredevil!!! I'm SO tired from just chasing her around trying to keep her from drowning. Stella has absolutely NO fear of the water. She was tired too and took a 2 hour nap afterward (very rare for her these days as she doesn't require much sleep). I wish I could have taken pictures at the water park, but that will have to be a later post...for today, it's just Stella in her new swimsuit :)

First Communion Banner

Ellie was so excited yesterday when her communion banner kit came in the mail! It was almost like a Christmas or birthday present - so exciting :) She spent a lot of time decorating it and tried her best to be patient (a big challenge for her) and not rush to finish it so quickly. Although she had some help with her name and some of the details, she did a large part of it all by herself. Here are a few pictures.

Table for 8

We recently decided to purchase a nice kitchen table so that we could all eat together now that we've expanded our family to include 7 people and Stella can now sit in a booster chair at the table with us. We found this nice table with 8 chairs at The Dump in Irving - haha - not the "dump" as the kids first thought but a store with some bargains on nice furniture. Although a tight fit in our small kitchen, we are thrilled to be able to sit down all 7 of us and eat dinner together! Guess who the 8th chair is for? That's right - Jesus. Ellie is proud to tell anyone that the 8th chair is reserved for this very special guest. We couldn't agree more!
