Happy Birthday, Roland!

Tonight we celebrated Roland's 17th birthday! It's amazing that Stella is 17 months old while Roland is 17 years old. Where does the time go? We told Roland that it honestly doesn't seem like that long ago that he was Stella's age. We need to remember to cherish these moments!

We celebrated by taking Roland to Palio's Pizza in Keller.



It was kind of cool to get to go out to eat with just mom and dad. Two old folks and a handsome young man!

This year we tried something different (an idea we copied from a fellow homechooling friend) and did "marbled eggs." It was fun, and they turned out really pretty!

We had a wonderful Easter with Ellie's birthday falling on Easter Sunday this year! It also just so happened to be her "golden birthday," because she turned "8" on her birthday, April 8th. So, needless to say, lots of excitement this year...
