We celebrated Granddaddy's (aka Great Grandaddy) 93rd birthday last night at his new retirement home apartment, and it was NICE. Wow! What a nice, clean place. They have all meals provided, linens washed, and the room cleaned on a regular basis. It's very small, but very cozy and really all they need (according to Grandma Pat anyway). They also have 24 hour care in case of any type of emergency (falls, etc.). Perfect for their needs at this time.
