Stella is 11 months old now and just on the verge of walking. She stands all the time now but just doesn't seem quite ready to take that actual first step. She climbs on everything, and if she is out of sight for a minute, I often find her on top of something I didn't know she could climb up on (small tables, etc.) I'm sure she will be walking any day now, and then watch out! She is determined to do everything her older brothers and sister do. She even fusses when they ride bikes and won't stop until I put her on a tricycle and hold her hands pushing her around the driveway.
We're enjoying homeschooling this year even more than last. We've joined our church homeschool co-op which gives the kids enrichment classes and time with friends. Ellie is enjoying school and has decided that this year history is her favorite subject. Caden is doing well with his short lessons (learning to read and math). He is very busy and active, so his lessons remain short and to the point ;)
Roland is a junior and Jonathan is a freshman this year! Where did the time go? They are both in wrestling and will start their season very soon with daily practice after school and wrestling meets on Saturdays - even busier times ahead!
Here are a few various recent photos.
This was an unexpected science experiment! The kids carved pumpkins on the back porch last year, and a few stray seeds got swept into the yard. No one did anything to take care of them, but this year we have an actual pumpkin growing right by the porch!
Ellie's idea - pajama day!
Stella decided to climb into the shower with Caden clothes and all!
