Challenge Summer Camp for Girls

Wow!  This camp was a wonderful experience for Ellie, and the drive to Irving - yes, we drove out there every day this week for the challenge camp - was worth it!  Here are some of the activities from the week:  daily mass, adoration, confession, talks with consecrated ladies (two young women with lots of energy), outdoor games, including Messy Olympics complete with slip and slides, shaving cream games, and even a REAL firetruck to hose them off.  The camp was worth EVERY penny that it cost.  Also, talk about exhausted!  The camp was from 9-5 each day with no down time really, so by the end of each day, Ellie was so tired she slept all the way home in the car from Irving to Keller.  Ellie said she couldn't wait to go back again next summer, but luckily Challenge will be in Keller next year, so we're VERY happy about that!

They were doing a fashion show - thus the makeup and hairdos.

A fun game with the girls.
